Latte Art The beginning of decorating milk foam on a coffee cup

Latte Art The beginning of decorating milk foam on a coffee cup

Latte Art has now become an art and creativity in making coffee, making it more enjoyable. Milk foam is decorated on coffee to add value to each drink cup.

This idea came from Mr. David Shomer, owner of the coffee shop Espresso Vivace in the United States, to make a difference in the coffee he sells, making latte art known around the world. Davin Cafe is ready to serve customers through professional baristas, allowing you to taste the highest-quality coffee in Ram Intra Cafe.

Popular Latte Art Styles for Baristas

After Latte Art entered the coffee industry, baristas began experimenting with new techniques to create fine milk foam for creating beautiful patterns. There are 2 styles:

  1. Free Pouring

This technique requires expertise. It involves pouring milk foam onto coffee water and relying on catching the flow of milk foam to create various patterns. Davin Cafe uses this method to make latte art and serve it to customers.

  1. Etching

It is also a method of pouring milk foam onto coffee, but it uses a latte art pen to create intricate patterns on the milk foam and is decorated with syrups or various flavored sauces.

Davin’s Thailand Latte Art Competition Award

For the Latte Art competition, our baristas won the 6th Southern Latte Art Smackdown competition at the Coffee Bakery Fest Hat Yai 2024, with Ms. Nawarat Phattraphongpipat (Tangmo) receiving the 1st place award.
